Proactive Chiropractic Shortlisted for BCA Clinic of the Year 2025.

We are delighted to announce that Proactive Chiropractic and Sports Injury Clinic has been shortlisted for Clinic of the Year by the British Chiropractic Association (BCA)!

We at the clinic are honoured to be mentioned alongside two other fantastic clinics and could not be prouder of how far the clinic has come. Proactive was opened in May 2023 by our Principal Chiropractor, Kathryn Deverson, starting as one treatment room housed within Posibl CrossFit with a few pieces of equipment. Kathryn’s vision was to create a clinic that provided excellent chiropractic care and rehabilitation services, improve the lives of our clients, and educate patients about their bodies to allow them to live without limits. Proactive has now become two thriving clinics in Cardiff (Norwich Road and Vindico Arena) with a team of eight professionals, all with a singular goal to continue these ideals.

A few words from Kathryn:

“From day one, the goal was to build a clinic that genuinely cares - one that empowers patients to understand their bodies. Fast forward to today and we have grown into two clinics with a fantastic team. From Daniel, one of our Chiropractors, Abbie and Colm, who are our fantastic Sports Therapists, Thomas, our Sports Massage Therapist, our Business Outreach Officer, Danielle, to our receptionists, Tia and Laura, who hold everything together. We’ve come so far and we are continuing to expand and help more patients every day. It has been a whirlwind but I have loved it.”

Proactive have also been recognised for our national contributions, with Kathryn holding positions on the BCA’s Communications Committee and CPD Committee, and Daniel representing us on the Student Committee.

All of us at Proactive know that this nomination would not be possible without tireless work our practitioners and receptionists to deliver the highest standard of Chiropractic and Sports Injury care in Cardiff, combining our knowledge with a genuine, patient-centred approach. No matter the outcome, we are all incredibly proud of what we have achieved this year. This is only the beginning — we’re continuing to grow and learn to help our patients move better, feel better, and live better.
